Photo #1
I told Hubby and Lucy to put their best sweaters on and meet me on the porch.
Photo #2
As long as Hubby kept scratching Lucy's back, she agreed to play along.
The moment he stopped, she'd give him this look.
Hubby was very patient with me. I told him I wanted to take his and Lucy's picture for my blog. He said he didn't think that was such a good idea but I insisted since I talk about them so much. Always in the nicest way of course.
Photo #4
Look, they're both smiling at the same time!
Now which photo should I use in my blog margin to represent them best? Photo 1,2,3 or 4?
Hubby thought I should be in a photo, so here's our first attempt.
And our second. I like his facial expression in this one.
I vote for photo 4 since they are both smiling!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! My hubby would never consent to being a model but our dogs would! #2 says love and affection to me but #4 is just pure joy and happiness! Wonderful pics!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
They're all nice but #1 I like best.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome pair, but photo 4 is best. Oh, look, an even handsomer trio!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a purty family you got.

Hard to go past number 2, it captures that special dog/owner relationship. You both really do look so lovely, but, then again, that comes across in your blog too..Have a lovely weekend..Rachaelx
ReplyDeleteMy favorit is absolutly #2. It's a unwatched moment... ;)

I like #'s 3 and 4. Such joy!
ReplyDeleteOK, so, without wanting to sound like i covet my bloggy friend's hubby - they're all pretty hot.
ReplyDeletehowever i think 2.5 is the winner - the unstaged, natural, relaxed look is cool.

These are so sweet! I love photo #2. The mutual love is so tangible.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family you are!
xo country girl
I like all of them....but 3 seems a little bit more close up....can't go wrong either way...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I like photo three! Cause you can see his whole face and eyes.
ReplyDeletePhoto 1, with that faraway happy look!

I like #3 and #4 - between the two I just can't decided.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. He looks so relaxed!
I'm partial to numbers 2 and 4. 2 is very sweet; 4 makes me smile!
ReplyDelete-maria
Awww! What a hard decision! That Lucy is a cutie, I mean what a sweetheart! I think I like #4 the best, but then I scrolled back through, and they really are all good. I love your blog. I check it everyday!
ReplyDeleteAll the pics are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI think Lucy deserves a pic alone. She's wonderful.
Fun post.
Garden & Be Well, XO Tara
I like #3 and #4. Love your blog!
ReplyDelete# 4 by far. Cutie pies!
ReplyDelete#2 is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI like 3 and 4, but I think 3 would be better for where you want to use it (the subjects in 3 fill up more of the frame).
ReplyDeleteI vote you use photo #4! :)
ReplyDeleteI just popped over from Mari's site. I like photo number 3. Tough descision to make!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Lucy looks a little tired in #1. I like that she's resting her head against hubby in #2. Lucy is absolutely adorable in unnumberd one between #2 and #3. I think Lucy just spotted a rabbit in #3. And #4 is perfect. And I also kind of like the one where you're just out of the frame. There's something really sweet about that one.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #3!
ReplyDeleteThey're all sweet...but I like #2 best. Lucy looks the most calm in this one and sweet in this one...which I think you've described her to be. :)
ReplyDeleteI like #2...very natural and it looks like a "captured moment."
ReplyDelete#4 is adorable!
ReplyDeleteNumber three.
ReplyDeleteI like photo number 3. Of course you two look great in the photo too! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI like them all!
ReplyDeleteKelly
I like #3, but #4 is a close second.
ReplyDeleteHi Trina,
ReplyDeleteOk here's my vote. I LOVE the photo of you and hubby, with you slightly out of frame. Your eyes look so blue in that picture, it is precious. Then a picture of Lucy all by herself. Or any of the others will be cute too. What a beautiful family you have.
~janet
you are adorable! i pick #4.
ReplyDelete(forgive me if you get TWO posts here from me. first time said it didn't go through.)
hugs!
They all looked so natural...you guys are so sweet! But, my vote is for #3...just made me laugh and go awww! My dog has a similiar "act" for getting her way!!!
ReplyDeletephoto 4 looks the most natural, also like the last one of the two of you. now you need one of all 3 of you! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for photo number 4...both look great.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are TOO adorable smiling Lucy and all!
ReplyDeleteLove each and every one!
Voting for #3--but they're all great.
ReplyDeleteOne year, long before we had children, we made a Xmas card photo on the bed with the dog sandwiched between us (using the timer delay on the camera). I was laughing so hard there were tears rolling down my cheeks. It took more takes than I would have dreamed possible.
ReplyDeleteI think you're gorgeous and should be in the picture, too. xoxo
Hi Trina~ this is the first time I've commented on your blog and I rarely leave comments anywhere for that matter. ( I don't have a blog) But I just had to stop in and tell you what an absolutely gorgeous home you and your husband are creating! And to think you live in the midst of all that natural beauty! How very blessed you are. I'm a big fan of your decorating style because everything looks "clean" and warm and cozy and downright elegant. Your kitchen is divine! I love the different vignettes you create with your open shelves. You and your Hubby have got it going on for sure. I know this was rather long but I just wanted to say congrats to you two for all the hard work you've done. You sure do have a one-of-a-kind home.
ReplyDeleteOh, and if my opinion counts ~ I like picture #3 .... or #4. :)
Best wishes!
Sue
Lucy has a wonderful smile. She knows life is good!
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with any of those photos...they are all great!
ReplyDeleteThree! That gaze shows a true bond!
ReplyDeleteYour boy is a golly good sport Trina! But be careful sweetie that this doesn't go to his head like MOTH. Every morning when I check my Blog before work, Mr. Big Head wanders in & says 'So what are my adoring fans up to today!'
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
Beautiful couple...
ReplyDeleteWill return to take in all in, over and over again and again.

Photo 1,2,3,4,
ReplyDeleteDo you ever take a bad photo? I vote all the above.
Your site is WONDERFUL, INSPIRING, and I really think everyone who visits just wants to move in.
Inspiring.
