Just a quick note... FOOD & WINE magazine included a picture of our kitchen in a piece entitled, Food Bloggers' Best Kitchen Design Ideas (page 56) in their January 2011 issue. It came out while Trina was in the hospital, so we've just picked up a copy ourselves. Here's the digital version as shown on their web site.
Wishing you all the happiest holiday season.
All the best,
Mike

Congrats. I, too, knew right away that was your kitchen. I love to cook and have to tell you that doing so in your kitchen, so simple and lovely, would be just this side of heaven. (And I have a pretty great kitchen myself!) You have proven beyond a doubt that a beautiful home is about quality not quantity and all in the details.

ReplyDeleteWay to go Mike !!! Best wishes to you all.
ReplyDeleteIt took me am 11 hour road trip last weekend to finally dig into the January issue of F&W - I dogeared your page and am thrilled to see you have a blog! Your house is simply gorgeous, and its inspiring to see all that you've done with it. Your kitchen makes me swoon - and has convinced me that the Ikea butcher block counter tops are the way to go whenever we get to tackling our own kitchen renovation. Looking forward to following your blog.
