I love how an everyday meal at home can be transformed just by eating in a new location. Since our dining patio isn't quite done, we've been eating on the porch or out in the yard.
We're enjoying our first blueberries of the season. I picked them last week at a blueberry farm near town. Although a little early, there were still lots of ripe bushes to pick from. I'm looking forward to picking many more this summer.
Blueberries are becoming a popular crop in our valley as they grow easily and are naturally disease and insect resistant.
What a pretty breakfast table! I still remember eating a delicious breakfast outside your house a year ago. Love eating outside! You do it with such style!
ReplyDeleteTrina- It's beautiful! What a lovely table setting and what a gorgeous setting period!
ReplyDeleteI remember as a child when we would go visit my grandparents in Portland we would go berry picking! Such a wonderful childhood memory! We're having fabulous weather, hope you are too!
Yummy and beautiful, all at the same time...
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty breakfast table. We often eat outside if it is not sweltering -- there is something civilized about breakfast in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWow, I just found you via for the love of a house. I'm speechless. Well not quiite! What a gorgeous home. We just finished renovating a small cottage on a tight budget and a very small time frame. I love the colors you used throughout. I wish I didn't have to go to work today so I could examine every picture more closely. When I get off work today I know what I'm doing. I'll be back. Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Trina, what a very inviting table set up you made here. The place is relaxing and calming. This is also the place I always wanna spend with my family.
