Feels Like Summer

As the last of the lilacs began to fade over the warm holiday weekend, we worked hard getting things done in the yard. Although not officially, I believe summer has arrived. With that, we are all the more eager to finish a few things in the yard so that we may enjoy many, many, many lazy days this summer.

While Mike's Dad was out visiting from Wisconsin over the long weekend, father and son put in all 20 posts for our soon-to-be picket fence. Both are engineers, and I can assure you that we will have the straightest, the strongest, and the most beautiful fence one could ever ask for.
