From the Earth

We pulled a few bunches of carrots this evening. Enough to make some nice meals... in a soup, sliced in salad, sauteed, roasted, or boiled and pureed into baby food. Besides the pumpkins and herbs, the carrots are the last of the garden.

Until next year...

  13. Yum, I love fresh carrots from the garden. I like them raw, (only way my parents could get me to eat veggies as a child, still my preference).

And those "sweet pea" children are treasures. I can bet each day is a new memory to cherish . . .

  23. Your carrots look yummy! And your two little sweet peas look so fresh and clean! Funny you mentioned about the scruff while the babies are so well taken care of...here I am, sitting at computer with my bathrobe still on and the baby is crawling around with fresh, clean clothes on and a freshly changed diaper. As soon as he goes down for a nap it's shower time for me!!
