As summer fades with each passing day, I find myself savoring the last of the roses. I will miss them come fall, but they're like an old friend that I know I'll gladly see again.
Today I'm doing a guest post over at Raenovate! Rachel is away on a Cape Cod camping trip and she asked me to do a 'before' and 'after' post on our dining room. In fact, Rachel invited me to do this a couple of months ago so I have her to thank for helping to motivate us to finish the last details of the room. There's nothing like a fast approaching deadline to keep you on target!

ReplyDeleteTrina, I keep coming back to look at those beautiful David Austin roses. Would they grow in the southeast? What is the name of this particular one? I must own it!!! :) Also , could we see the bush? I hate to be so much trouble but they are amazing! No rush, whenever you feel up to it.

ReplyDeleteThe cuttings for this bouquet were all from his variety called, Geoff Hamilton. I also planted, which aren't shown, his Heritage, Windemere and Glamis Castle varieties.
We're getting lots of rain today so I probably won't make it out to take photos but they're a standard rose bush shape and produce an abundant amount of blossoms. They also have a beautiful fragrance.

Trina, your dining room is beautiful. The light that fills that room is breathtaking. I love the slip covers and was wondering if you would divulge your source. We have parson's chairs that need help.
