The sweet peas and I met up with some wonderful friends today.
They were Joan and sweet sisters Louise, Magnolia and Ella.
It was so much fun and although it was great to shop for antiques with an expert, I would have been just as happy sitting and chatting in the cafe all day.
I'll share what we brought home in the next post!
Sweet day! It made me smile thinking of it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like my kind of day. My heart leapt when I saw a new post from you. I can't wait to see your finds, and how you furnish your new home. You have remarkable style. I bet you're so eager to get nesting and settled in with your family. All the best x

ReplyDeleteWhoa! Two blogs collide! I thought I accidently brought up For The Love Of A House! How fun to think of you two getting together. Something about that makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw those sweet little faces I thought I had clicked the wrong blog link. Your day must have been fabulous, hope the sweet peas enjoyed meeting these lovely ladies.

ReplyDeleteCann't wait to see your fabulous finds. Both you and Joan have such an eye for detail and a wonderfully beautiful way of putting things together. Love those dogs!!! Hope your munchins had a fun day antiquing and romping around with those sweet dogs.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a great day to me. Meeting the girls and Joan too!
ReplyDeleteWas confused at first.. why is Joan referring to HERSELF as Joan. Then I realized I was on your blog! Love that you guys know each other. My two all time favourite bloggers :-)

ReplyDeleteAs you were driving back home: "Mom can we have a puppy?" Right? Am I right?

Well that is funny, I recognized the girls too. Didn't expect that!
ReplyDeleteThat's sooo funny, I have only two blogger shortcuts on my browser and when I opened your blog today and saw the dogs I thought I had opened the wrong blog. I see others who have commented here are saying the same, after seeing the doggies I went over to Joans' blog to check if they were the same doggies. Small world.
ReplyDeleteI too wondered whose blog I was reading when I saw the photo of Joan's sweet girls. I love it when my friends get together...and it doesn't matter a bit that they don't even know me! Looking forward to hearing more about your outing and the treasures you found.
