I would like to thank all of you who sent in such beautiful photographs of your homes as potential features for Country Living Magazine. It has been wonderful to visit you through them in your own environs, and so fascinating to see that despite our varied landscapes and cultures, we strive so similarly to create homes that suit our lifestyles and our aesthetic sensibilities, and nourish our families and ourselves.
Whether rented or owned, our homes offer us such places of safe haven. They are the places in which we live our daily lives, quietly making memories from day to day, and also grandly with the special events that our lives inevitably offer.
It was an absolute honor to be invited over - my sincerest thanks to each and everyone one of you for such a lovely visit!
And to those of you who haven't sent in your homes, but think that you would like to someday, I look forward to the visit.
