Our co-op had fresh daffodils in from a local farm. I believe this variety is White Lion. Daffodils have such a sunny disposition. They can't help but conjure a smile on just about anyone.
With my first glance, I thought this was a huge mum. I now see each daffodil that comes to gather to make this fabulous bouquet of beauty. Beautiful.. shug
Aren't they wonderful ! My house was previously owned by two ... 2 !!! Garden Club Ladies .. one and then later another .. then the poor gardens got me. My plan is to just attempt to control and tend to the garden that is here. I have been happy to pick little bouquets of the ruffled petal daffodils .. they are so dear ! I notice they don't have much scent though, have you noticed that ?

Wow. I'm not a photographer, but I get the feeling a photo like that doesn't just happen. It's a beautiful study in light.

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful daffodils...they look stunning all tight together in a bunch. x
ReplyDeleteLovely! I only wish daffodil season lasted longer.
ReplyDeleteMy great aunt had some of this variety of daffodils in her yard. I think she called them, butter and egg.....
