Between the never-ending tasks of unpacking and sorting, there are moments to pause.
The quiet ending days of Autumn are so beautiful.
My dear Joan, stoic as ever, has made such a journey with us.
She is a constant companion.
This is her lovely view.
Late Autumn tidings to all of you.
What a lovely view. Looks like you have a great place for bird watching!
ReplyDeleteCatherine,
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous view from the first window with the church in the distance! I wish you the best. I am a fan from Tucson who has savored your home and decorating.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Best,
Kathleen
Catherine,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view. I for some reason thought you and your family were moving to California. The view out your window appears to be someplace else, maybe the east coast?
Your bust of Joan is so pretty.
Karen
Catherine, love that Joan is with you after such a long trip. She must be tired. Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteYour view is lovely just like you.

ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for a long time and at the risk of sounding rude, I think that it would really be nice if you would tell us where you are located.
ReplyDeleteDear Anon,
ReplyDeleteWe are in New England.
Best, Catherine
I thought it looked more like beautiful New England, than it did California. I feel as though Autumn has lingered especially long this year...

Can't wait to see what you do with this awesome rental.... How long will you be renting? It may just turn out so beautiful you will end up staying. Lovely view for sure! You can stop by my blog to enter for a chance to win some handmade cards that I am working on.
ReplyDeleteI too am a west coast (Los Angeles) girl relocated to the east. While I truly love the seasons, lifestyle and almost everything here...I miss the casual decorating style of California. We have an old, crusty dutch colonial with so much East Coast charm...I need you to show me how to bring the two together.......love your posts, can hardly wait to see what you do next.
ReplyDeleteLove. It.
ReplyDeleteWOW.
Take good care, Em
A beautiful fall view, love the peep of the church in the woods beyond...
ReplyDeleteThe view out the window is perfection!!
