This orchid has come home to live with us.
I'm crossing my fingers that those lovely closed buds open up into blossoms.
I would love to find out who makes these beautiful nest-like containers.
They are the perfect compliment to the orchid.
giggling is good!!!

I love orchids. Mine has just rebloomed. Yours is just lovely

That's a very beautiful container - For a second I thought that it was just the bare soil and roots molded into the shape of the container! p.s. Your babies are adorable - just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe orchid is beautiful. And it's amazing how raising kids can humble the most well laid decorating plans. Good to have that perfect orchid to buoy up your spirits!

I cannot decide which giggle I prefer, that of the orchid or that random block lying askance on the floor.

Great looking orchid!!! I wonder if the toys are getting in there on purpose :)
ReplyDeleteAn orchid I received was the only plant I've even been able to keep alive. They are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet scene!
ReplyDeleteI just got my first orchid on birthday last week and the thing is still alive. Hope I have as much success as you've had with them reblooming.
Im sure it will be wonderful and blossom for you. Sweet pic.

The orchid is lovely - I, too would love to have mine in a pot thing like that.
ReplyDeleteBut nothing is cuter than those babies playing! Priceless!
Love Orchids....haven't tried to bring any home but i just may have to after seeing yours! Sweet Post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orchid . . . . please bloom, bloom, bloom for Trina and the little ones.
ReplyDeleteYour two look like great companions . . . already!
Oh my goodness - that is the sweetest photo ever! Thanks so much for sharing and enjoy the rest of your day. xoxo Jalon
ReplyDeleteA giggling orchid...how could it not bloom with those adorable babies playing nearby! xx
ReplyDeleteOh my - the babies are growing too fast! Love the simplicity of your home ~ you should see my clutter ):
ReplyDeleteI love the babygate in the fireplace! I'll bet they loved that little box for their toys! And I love the little pot the orchid is in also...a new orchid came home with me this weekend also. :)
ReplyDeleteHow could your orchid not be happy watching those cute little guys play. Love your photographs!

Oh what a view! Nothing else can compare...the babies are adorable!
ReplyDeletebeautiful orchids and babies. xo terri
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling about the toys going where they are not supposed to. Watching our 10 month old granddaughter, it is a constant "drop and pick up" game and if there is a barrier or a table, off it goes. It must be a learning curve of some kind...cause and effect.
ReplyDeletetrina i remember a few years back when you posted on getting your orchids to rebloom. that was when i made up my mind that i would stop tossing mine and actually try to get them to rebloom. you inspired me way back then. now i'm getting them to rebloom and i have you to thank for it! love this new one, so beautiful and the pot is to die for! also, when i first found out about your pregnancy i remember imagining your beautiful home strewn with brightly colored toys. well here it is! it's all so lovely. xo
ReplyDeleteSooooooo nice to have a built in playmate all of the time. Maybe first children should always be twins. They look so very sweet.
ReplyDeletehahhaa....so cute. Brings back memories of when we used to have to put a baby gate in front of our Christmas tree. :))
ReplyDeleteI wish my home was as de-cluttered as yours.....love your pretty place.
Good idea about the fireplace "screen"!...LOL Kit
ReplyDeleteToys have the power to fly, walk, run, and disappear. Love the photos.
