Flea Market Style
















This past summer, I got the nicest note from the beautiful and talented Heather Bullard. She was writing to say that she would like to mention my blog in Flea Market Style.  Needless to say, I felt quite honored.

Today I received a copy of the their newest issue with the piece that highlighted a selection of design blogs.


The other blog categories ranged from "Best for gals who love power tools" (Funky Junk Interiors) and 'Best before- and-after posts" (Miss Mustard Seed's Creative Blog), to "Best home decor inspiration" (My Sweet Savannah), and "Best if you swoon over white" (Home and Harmony).

    This is so exciting and I couldn't agree with Heather more! When you posted this image, I put it right into my folder labled "beautiful outdoor rooms" and everytime I look at it, I am reminded of you, you blog and beautiful home. I always wanted an old farmhouse to renovate. It just wasn't in the cards, but I get to live the dream through you blog and I love and appreciate it so much.

    I can appreciate your motivation to share your blessings, as it's the same for myself. Sometimes it feels so silly to snap photos while baking or something similar, but it's nice to share those simple, daily things that make life enjoyable.

    I have been following your blog for sometime now. First off I followed for your incredible photography and your gorgeous home, but later it became more about your heart. When you shared your story of infertility and the blessings of your pregnancy, it touched my heart so deeply. (My husband and I share a similar story.) You have been in my prayers since.
