ReplyDeleteHi Trina!
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for almost a year now and have had yet to comment. We too have a farmhouse that we are in the process of renovating and I only dream that our home will someday look like yours! Congratulations on motherhood! Children change you in wonderful, inexplicable ways. I can't wait to see pictures of the nursery!
Such a sweet picture!! You look great!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful, what a lovely glow about you! I love when the baby bump begins to show...what a blessing! Hope you are feeling strong and healthy!
ReplyDeleteI always wished I had a twin. My sister and I are very close in age and people always thought we were twins. We're best friends, but it would be even cooler if we really were twins!
ReplyDeleteYesterday I went to a baby shower for a 42-year-old woman having her first baby. She didn't try to get pregnant until she was 40, and then she suffered a miscarriage at the beginning of her second trimester, but now she's finally having a son in a couple months. You both look so young and healthy! Being pregnant must really agree with you!
A most beautiful picture...but I think you mean baby bumpS!
ReplyDeleteAs dewy and beautiful as the peonies you're holding!
ReplyDeleteYour story is heartwarming and poignant; definitely the beginnings of a lovely treasure-filled book for your babes.
I am so very happy for you and your honey. But, do get lots of peaceful quiet now......you'll need those in your Memory Bank during long winter nights......much like a little Secret Garden!
{{{hugs}}}
Trina...you look so happy and beautiful, and there is a calm peace that is radiating from you, so lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteThe Greek meaning of the word joy is "a calm delight"...I think you represent that *joy* right now, to it's fullest meaning.
Blessings to you, hubby and the babes (so fun to see them!)~ xxoo Jessica

With joy I read your news. As I watched your home progress, I often thought how much some children would add to the landscape. Now, you can laugh with joy at the blessings coming your way. I smile and praise the Lord with you. Indeed, "children are a gift" from him.

ReplyDeletep.s. my husband and I have only been married a year and a half but we were on the same time frame of falling in love and marrying in less than a year with our anniversary in October as well. Being able to get pregnant when the time comes has definitely crossed my mind as we got married at almost 30. So excited for your blessing of twins!

Having walked in your shoes {infertility, etc.} I can say that this will absolutely be one of the happiest times of your life, as you bloom and grow, dream and plan. It will be wonderful once the babies have arrived, but in a very different ~ and hectic, exciting, way ~ and you will never be the same. Drink in every moment until their arrival. So happy for you!! xx Suzanne
ReplyDeleteOh oh a Double blessing! You are going to have your hands full of joy! I will be praying for you and your husband that all will go well. Your blog has brought serenity and peace to me as I have read. My house and life seem noisy, cluttered and a bit crazy in comparison. But hey, who's comparing. We each should walk in joy in what we have been apportioned. But I am thankful that you are being given the gift of motherhood. Savor this time. It is so very special.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful! Congratulations to you and yours husband! I feel really happy for you :)
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!

There's something so miraculous about a baby growing inside your body. I can only imagine the excitement of two! One for each of you to hold. We rejoice with you. :)

ReplyDeleteMay God continue to shower you with His blessings. You're blog is incredibly beautiful. I'm so happy to find it! Similar, my husband and I renovated an old farm house and made our dream come true. It was an old pig farm & is on 10 acres. Our children were in grade school when we found it. It took 9 months to renovate it and we've made MANY, MANY, MANY wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteNow, it's your turn to live the life you imagined. God's timing is always perfect.
You are so beautiful! May the coming months be merry for you & your husband.
Blessed.
Parabéns e muitas felicidades!

Being pregnant is one of the most beautiful things... just wait until you get to actually hold your baby for the first time - it's a feeling you never forget. Being parents is the most wonderful thing! My husband and I still say to eachother that we still can't quite believe that we have a son (who's now 1) and that he's ours!
