A Note of Gratitude



I cannot put into words how much your beautiful comments and e-mails have meant to us. We read each and every one of them together, and we're both deeply touched by the outpouring of love and warmth from everyone.

Thank you dear, dear friends for extending your blessings, thoughts, well wishes and notes of happiness. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    On Saturday a family was at our home selecting their new puppy, while their adorable 4 year old twin girls fed the koi with my husband, I shared your wonderful story. With moist eyes all around - they told me their own story of struggle, obviously followed by blond curly success - with wishes of all the best to you.     I always wished I had a twin. My sister and I are very close in age and people always thought we were twins. We're best friends, but it would be even cooler if we really were twins!

    Yesterday I went to a baby shower for a 42-year-old woman having her first baby. She didn't try to get pregnant until she was 40, and then she suffered a miscarriage at the beginning of her second trimester, but now she's finally having a son in a couple months. You both look so young and healthy! Being pregnant must really agree with you!

    p.s. my husband and I have only been married a year and a half but we were on the same time frame of falling in love and marrying in less than a year with our anniversary in October as well. Being able to get pregnant when the time comes has definitely crossed my mind as we got married at almost 30. So excited for your blessing of twins!

    Having walked in your shoes {infertility, etc.} I can say that this will absolutely be one of the happiest times of your life, as you bloom and grow, dream and plan.     May God continue to shower you with His blessings. You're blog is incredibly beautiful. I'm so happy to find it! Similar, my husband and I renovated an old farm house and made our dream come true. It was an old pig farm & is on 10 acres. Our children were in grade school when we found it. It took 9 months to renovate it and we've made MANY, MANY, MANY wonderful memories.
    Now, it's your turn to live the life you imagined. God's timing is always perfect.

    Being pregnant is one of the most beautiful things... just wait until you get to actually hold your baby for the first time - it's a feeling you never forget. Being parents is the most wonderful thing! My husband and I still say to eachother that we still can't quite believe that we have a son (who's now 1) and that he's ours!
