We went to the Saturday Market this morning and I got three gorgeous bouquets of fresh cut flowers. I've become friends with the flower farmer as not only am I a loyal customer, but we're pretty much neighbors, as the crow flies that is.
Hi Janet, Yes hubby took the picture. I'm usually the one taking pictures of him but he insisted! We bought a Canon Rebel XSI last winter. It came highly recommended by a photographer and we've been very happy with it. Thanks so much for writing! : )
Oh, this reminds me so much of the flower farmer we have here; he's also a 'transplanted' American living in Austria, so we chat in english while he puts together my 10 euro seasonal bouquets. I miss him...he's gone from January to March. I'm enjoying digging through your archives so much, and am sorry I didn't find this blog sooner...your words and photographs are such a joy to read and admire! xo country girl
Hi Rhi, I am a total amateur when it comes to Photoshop. One day I'll try and buy a book or take a class online. At the moment, I only use the auto correct functions and the light/contrast functions. I really do need to take a class! Trina
I am from Australia Melbourne and I love your blog so much. Your photos, your house, your children and the lovely stories you post. We live in a french/country/antique house in the hills and we wake up to lorikeets, kookaburras, cockatoos and rosellas.
It is such a joy! Keep your posts coming I love them...
Gorgeous! Love fresh flowers in the house!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful photo. Did your husband take it? What kind of camera do you use. I just love your home.
