    Those traditional blue-and-white china pots are just wonderful. And very apt for today, since it's our Independence Day here in Finland - and our colours are blue and white. A great excuse for aquiring one of those myself ;-)

    Thank you for the lovely reminder, Catherine. One question--do you know where you got that chandelier? I have been looking for lighting for my dining room table for 12 years (literally--we have had bare bulbs in porcelain sockets that whole time), and yours looks perfect. Any directions in which to search would be very helpful. Thank you, Cori
