It is the season in which one can truly savor the beauty of a tomato. Ripened by the hot sun, nothing tastes quite like summer than this.
I also love the ease of putting something so scrumptious together...just tomato, basil, mozzarella, olive oil and balsamic and salt and pepper.

That is one of my fav things to whip up for dinner. Basil mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes with a drizzle of balsamic. Yummy. Perfect with every meal. Love it!

ReplyDeleteWe've had this almost daily since the tomatoes started ripening...even without the cheese. My grandson eats the cherry tomatoes right off the vine, he loves them!
