Annie Sloan paint allows you to use it on fabric, I painted several pieces of fabric with it and I also used it to dye fabric. Since you are going to re-upholster anyways, and they are in excellent shape, would be worth a try. Other paint companies have fabric painting products also.Windmill Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17660607112965782537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804818183817823900.post-50693100034238634472016-06-17T09:35:40.961-04:002016-06-17T09:35:40.961-04:00What a lucky find. At the same time, I had slipcovers made in polished cotton. The slipcovers went on in the summertime and I believe they are what kept that crewel in good shape for 30 years. I encourage you to have the slip covers made as close to the time you upholster as you can, as you will get a better fit.Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804818183817823900.post-85695862729718937392016-06-16T19:54:43.920-04:002016-06-16T19:54:43.920-04:00Total score ! :)

Most of the furniture has a neutral color, so I could add my pops of color with pillows. Though there is one camel back sofa in a soft green, as I think of green as a neutral, almost everything looks good with it, look at nature. And one French chair and ottoman, that was done in Covington Canterbury Reversible Jacquard Antique Red, which would be absolutely beautiful on these settees.
