Trina the most beautiful pic. How much do I love how she looks. Too sweet. I wish I had had a blog when my sons were little. Although I took a million pics. I took many of their toes. I recorded their voices. I loved that. Too sweet! Hope you are well. Lisa
More precious to me than those pigtails is that cheek!!! Cheeks, like baby lips, fingers, toes, and pigtails, are there only for a short time. Before we know it they are grown up and it is hard to find that stuff again. Save this photo!! You will want it someday.
Look at that! Darling. She is sure growing up isn't she. You are right, she will always be your baby. (from the mother of two babies who are 26 and 29) :) Kit
My daughter has seven-month-old twin girls, and we can't wait to fix their hair this way. So precious! And they'll be TWO of them with ponytails or pigtails. Adorable!
not one Mommy I know could see that picture and NOT go weak...yum yum yum, blow that one up to 16 x 20 and put it over the mantle! Trust me...she is still quite a baby....
I have two sons in their mid thirties, I can still look at them at times and see the babies they once were. It never leaves you. But, that is a mamma's love isn't it?
Hi Trina, She is adorable! A question about wood counter sealers I wrote down the food-safe sealer you used on your Ikea tops -did you use same product on underside? I have read importance of a good moisture block product , esp. near dishwasher to prevent mold/bacteria & wood damage. Can you tell me what you used underneath & how it has worked for you? Thanks!
I wanted to clear with you my useage of lilac photos from a post last spring. I saved some to my wallpaper file, and wanted to use them for the A to Z Challenge, letter L. I would fully cite you as the source, as well as direct readers to your site. Pleae let me know if this acceptable. The photos were so exquisite. Thanks! susan
She's so precious. Love the pigtails. What gets me tho are the little dimples on the top of their hands. When they go, it's an all out cry-fest. Thanks for sharing.

The IKEA counters were installed unfinished by the cabinet maker so when it was time for us to stain and seal the counters, we only did the top.
We haven't had any issues with the dishwasher but it makes sense to seal the underside if you can. And I would use the same product if I were you.
Hope that helps!
Trina
Pigtails, apple green gingham and a Peter Pan collar - that is one stylish young lady! Absolutely gorgeous.
She's so precious. Love the pigtails. What gets me tho are the little dimples on the top of their hands. When they go, it's an all out cry-fest. Thanks for sharing.
Watch out Rapunzel! LOL!!! Love the hairdo!
