I am getting nothing and everything done this week. The laundry has piled up, the dust bunnies have run wild...and my blog has been quiet. At the end of the day, I've barely been able to string a complete sentence together.
But there are these two sweet little growing angels in my arms and each day, I find myself yearning to breathe in more and more of them. I can't bare to miss any of it.
I have never been so exhaustedly happy in all my life.
Now off to bed...
xoxo

And dont miss any of it, not one second...because the dust bunnies will always be there...and the laundry can wait...every week that goes by those little people will change and grow, all else will stay the same, but they wont.........it is the only advice that I truly believe in,,,because babies are not babies for long...enjoy those adorable bundles of yum.........xx Suzanne, Australia
Enjoy every moment, even the most sleepless of them. I still feel this way and my twins are 18. We are in the midst of hearing from colleges and I remind myself to breathe it all in and enjoy the process and the phase. It goes so very fast.
Your babies look positively glorious in every way.

There is nothing quite like the contented exhaustion of a Mama! Gorgeous photos.

I hope you enjoy every single second, forget about allthe dust bunnies, laundry and other nasties, and enjoy these 2 little beauties!
They are so beautiful!
I am so glad you are basking in motherhood and the love for your children. You always hear how time goes by so fast and before you know it, they are grown.
Here's to exhausted happiness!!
xo Dawn
I will tell you know having a 14, 16, and 19 yr. old, that it goes by in the blink of an eye. There will be plenty of time for keeping a house and blogging but literally the time with sweet babies is gone in a flash. Enjoy every second!!
I wouldn't even notice the dust bunnies with these little treasures nearby. Enjoy every moment. xx
I couldn't agree more Suzanne. Yes Trina, make the most of your beautiful babies (while they are still babies). My sweet boy is almost 3 yrs and I wish I could just turn back the clock to those times when he was that age. Happy days to your lovely family.~Jo, Toowoomba, Australia
What a blessing!!Enjoy every minute.
I agree! My girls are now 17 and 21, and I am thankful for those days where I just let the "household" things go to spend time with them. It goes by very quickly!! The twins are beautiful, and look so happy.

Enjoy...they grow so quickly! Sounds like you've got your priorities in exactly the right place. Take care of YOU too! By the way, not that you need to be told, but they're gorgeous!
DITTO what Suzanne above said. They grow up way too fast - enjoy every single second.
My best- Diane
awwwwwww!!!!!!
Sweet, sweet babies! Enjoy this precious time!
Thanks for sharing these adorable pictures of the neweset members of your family. You have a real knack for picture taking and the natural light on them is beautiful. Keep the pictures coming.
They are a dream come true! Just soak them in, the laundry can wait, even if you do it , it always comes back HA!
Oh, you've got it! That's the just-right perspective for a mama to have, for always. Those are indeed two little lovelies you've got there. Go right ahead and soak them up!
as a mother of 2 and grandmother of 5, I say, enjoy it while you can, in a blink of an eye they will be grown......those outfits are adorable...they look like ones my grandmother from Germany sent over for my 2 girls when they were babies.....sniles to you.....
I always enjoy your blog but take the time to enjoy your baby, they grow too fast!!!
Lynn
You are doing what you should. You are so lucky and TWINS what could be better. I don't have children but my sisters and brothers do. But I did get to care for one of my sisters little boy his first 2 years. She passed away when he was 2. Now that's enough of that but please let everything go and hold them tight.
Hope your days are blessed.
Gorgeous babies! Enjoy this time as much as you can.
Those babies are so adorable!!!!! I agree completely with Suzanne: all those chores will still be waiting and you absolutely must enjoy every moment with your darlings because they do grow up sooo fast. Savour these days, snuggle your darlings as much as you can. xoxo Nancy from Ontario, Canada
No worries - I would think you were crazy if you were blogging up a storm when you could be with those two adorable babies instead. Your priorities are dead on! Enjoy this time!!
And so it will be for a long, long time. Mine are 13 and 1/2 ( and in Paris for Spring Break), 10 and 4 and I still feel exhaustedly happy most days. Motherhood is the most joyfully exhausting experience there is:)
Soak up every second.
Reminds me of this poem:
"Babies Don't Keep"
Mother, of Mother, come shake out your cloth
empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
hang out the washing and butter the bread,
sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(lullaby, rockabye, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew
and out in the yard there's a hullabaloo
but I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?
(lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

These are precious time. First thing you know, they begin school where they pass the majority of their time !
In french, I would say about your two babies : ils sont ravissants!!
You know what... I remember being home when my kids were tiny and thinking the days went on forever and I was exhausted all the time. Now, they're 10 and 7 and I would give almost anything to freeze time with them.
It is fleeting. I can feel their childhood slipping through my fingers.
Breathe it in as much as you can. Your babies are beautiful!
xoMeg
lovely...just lovely, you are smart to be savoring every moment!
oh what loves and what joy!! I adore those precious faces and sweet litte outfits!
enjoy these times Trina and soak up every little bit of sugar to be had!
xojoan
Two sweet gems that make everything else less important!!
xo Terri
I was recently listening to a guest speaker talk on how mothers today need to stop and breathe and focus on what's more important than work, or a spotless house, or a perfect figure: Our children, and being a mom. A woman today can tend to feel like she's failing, as a wife and mother, if she can't raise her children, bring in an income, and have a perfect figure and kids who are involved in every event possible. At the end of the day, it's impossible to achieve all of those things and be happy and stressfree. Perfection doesn't equate immaculate. Sometimes the happiest days are amoungst complete clutter and chaos. I'm quickly learning that my son ultimately just wants to feel needed and important, and as though I want to spend time with him. And if the laundry has to wait one more day so I can play trains with him, or take him exploring, then so be it. :)
Sounds like a mom! Enjoy your little loves...they are precious! xo
Treasure every moment of time with your sweet little ones. Time goes by so fast and they will be grown. And dishes and dust bunnies will be there. Again and again and again.
~Adrienne~
sending you love and lots of good energy...

Margaret looks so much like your husband. Wow!
Trina, what blessings they are! As a mother of 3 grown treasures, this is poem someone gave me when I was knee deep in young mothering.Enoy!
Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day, I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return."
Your babies are precious. I love the little knit blue and pink outfits. So cute! I can see you and your husband in their faces...isn't it a miracle? My husband tells me, if the only thing I did all day was make sure our sweet Cole is well fed, clean and taken care of...then it's a day well spent.
Hugs,
Gail
Enjoy every single second of them...the rest of the world can wait. Such precious times!!
Hope you're enjoying Spring so far!!
They're precious, enjoy every possible minute, times goes by so fast!
Don't you just love it when you find your true calling in life! Parenting, the toughest and most rewarding job there is!
Kat :)
so sweet.
you are doing the right thing. don't miss a second! so glad you are taking care of yourself, and those two precious babies and doing what feels right!
Forget everything and just enjoy them! Precious! Of course, they always say that a "happy" mom is one that takes good care of herself first! So get plenty of rest and eat high energy nutritious foods (take mom time too)! Stay in the moment! I was truly not prepared for how fast my daughter grew up! Just yesterday, she was snuggling in my arms....13 years ago!
It's so true. I had no idea what it felt like until my little guy was born. It is heartbreaking how fast it goes.
They both look so clean. Do you dress them and them immediately take pictures before they can do anything to mess up the outfit?
Oh Trina, I cannot take my eyes off of them. I swear that sweet baby smell is coming through the computer screen. :) They are adorable!!!!
Oh they are growing so fast. Enjoy it all...the rest can wait!
The two best reason's for exhaustion that there ever could be...their little outfits are so unbelievably sweet. BTW - Easter's coming and I'm sure those dust bunnies could be turned into a fun story to share with G & M...just a thought, they might as well pitch in and make themselves useful! ;)
Happy St. Patrick's Day...
xo J~
They are adorable! I would negelect everything else too if I could spend that time soaking up their cuteness.
Trina, They are so beautiful, what a blessing. Hugs, Joyce
oh trina - thank you so much for posting these beautiful pictures of your precious angels!
they look so so sweet - i think often of how these days must be for you all, and hope they are full of blessings and happiness.
sounds like they certainly are :)
Enjoy, and try to keep a written diary for the children, they will love it!
You have such a way.
You say so much with so little words
"I have never been so exhaustedly happy in all my life."
This quote from you says everything, everything!
As mentioned by others, the lighting is so soft here.
It's such a priviledge to watch them grow.
Thank you both for giving us these gifts.
Xo Lisa
Treasure every moment with those precious little ones! The other stuff can wait! Carla
Isn't being a mom wonderful? Those are the sweetest little faces I have ever seen! Melaine

What beautiful babies! Housekeeping can wait. Babies can't. And they grow up so fast. Enjoy every moment.
Oh my, but you made some beautiful babies. Congratulations, momma.
Let it roll my dear.. as the mother of 6 I can say that the moments I thought would never end have passed so quickly that it is a bit frightening.. all the other stuff will come back to you in time and bust bunnies get more interesting over time :)

Your babies are beautiful.....
Have you ever heard this poem?
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow,
For babies grow up...
much to our sorrow!
So quiet down cobwebs... dust, go to sleep.
I'm rocking my babies, and
Babies don't keep.
I loved this when my kids were young. I even did it in counted cross stitch.
We love it when you post (I check regularly!) but really do understand. Your priorities are the babies. We get it!! It is your first and foremost job... so enjoy it while they are young. You will blink***** and they will be 21.

I am so jealous! Two sweet babies, a beautiful home and a husband that ain't bad. lol
Aren't they darling! I love their little outfits, too.
You are so right....take every moment to enjoy every little bit of growing these precious little ones do. The dust, laundry, etc. will be there.
My boys are grown and oh how I miss their growing up years.
Blessings....
BTW...they are sooo beautiful. I don't remember where you live but I would love to be a 'holder' of the babies! xo
Renae (just waiting until the day I am a grandma!!)
i love their little knitted outfits! are they homemade?
Hi Rachel,
Her organic knit jumper is by Hanna Anderson. His sweater suit is by the Gap! Both are from baby consignment stores.

Those are precious angels. ANd you are so right to breathe in every single inch of them! The dust bunnies will be always be there, they won't. Advice from a mom who breathed in every inch of her children who are now grown... and I never regretted a second of it.
I now have 2 very close children who are joys as adults!
I encourage you and esteem you for being overwhelmingly in love with your two precious ones!
Nothing is like the love and nurturing of a Mommy!
Yvonne
very intresting -keep it up
Oh my goodness they get more adorable everyday. What Blessings!!
Sounds so familiar, the lack of time to get things done and wanting to spend every minute with the babies: a dilemma of mothers worldwide!
all the best,
Evelien

Lindsay
Oh my, how precious they both are! Love the sweater suits too. DD2 is expecting a boy in mid-August. Hope those are still around next fall!
